Q. How long will these wheels last?
A. Even with aggressive skating, Atomic Wheels will generally wear at a rate that will out last most decks.  A worn out skateboard represents time well spent and dedication to a sport / lifestyle.  How long a skateboard will last is based on how much it is used.  Skilled riders will go through several complete skateboards in a few years time.

Q. Why do the bearings need to be installed at the factory?
A. Since Atomic Wheels are made with aluminum cores it is necessary to install the bearings with specialized equipment to achieve a precise fit and alignment.  Installing the bearings here allows us to carefully control this critical step, and assure consistent quality to our customers.

Q. Can the bearings be replaced?
A. The bearings are permanently installed at the factory.  Once the bearings are installed they are not intended to be removed or replaced.  Good quality bearings that are properly maintained will not need replacing before you need your next deck.  Keep your board out of the rain, mud, sand, pool (when filled), ocean, etc., and you will be fine.  Simply cleaning and lubricating your bearings will help keep them running smooth.

Q. Can I get other bearings installed that are not available from Atomic Wheel Company?
A. If the bearings that you prefer are not available through Atomic Wheel Company, you can send us the bearings of your choice and we will install them for an additional $5.00 fee.  Bearings sent to Atomic Wheel Company must be new and in the original packaging.
